Hank Graduated! PICS

Postby hankaroo » Thu Feb 16, 2006 9:52 am

Last night was our final night of Obedience I class. Hank graduated! Although I was kind of disappointed because I thought we would have had to take some test before he passed, but we just got the certificate. I should count my lucky stars there was no test because he was so hyper last night that I'm not sure if he would have passed. So, I grabbed the certificate and left before she could take it back!

We start Obedience II next Wednesday with the same instructor. So far there are only going to be 3 doggies in the class, so I'm very excited about that. We had 11 in Obedience I--crazy!

Here are some pictures I took last night. Hank was not too happy with wearing his certificate (I taped it to his bandana  ), so I was only able to snap a couple, but here they are. I'm so proud of my boy!!!! :D

Don't mind the 2 plates on the kitchen floor in one of the pictures--the cats had just gotten their tuna treat for the night and I forgot to pick them up!

Ha! We did have an obedience test for Duke when we took him to classes. We worked with Duke all week long, drilled him an hour before we left & he did fantastic.

Then we get to the class and it's test time ... and Duke was unfocussed, all over the place, barely sit-down-stayed for the minimum time ... :(

We barely pass, and as we leave, Duke stops in the doorway & POOPS! Ok, he had to POOP  and now you know the rest of the story!

(Ok, so we flunked our "How well do you know your dog?" test. )

Hysterical Kathy!

Synder pooped once in class and I wanted to crawl under a rock!

I know, I know, but it was bugging me. There is always so much crap laying around when I go to take a picture! There's no point in cleaning it all up immediately because it will be a mess again before too long. Martha Stewart I am not!

Hank would like to thank everyone for the congrats! He would also like to thank the academy for this wonderful award, his manager, PetEdge, Red Barn for the bully sticks, and especially ABR.

Ya know, I think the boys mark because they just don't want to be "forgotten"! (As in "Riley was here!")
