So Lola has a clicker

Postby adele » Tue Jan 15, 2008 8:36 am

I did it. I bought Lola a clicker. Sat down last night and taught her to turn her head to the right on command. (I know its not a great trick but we only just got the clicker). It took about 20 minutes. I think I could have taught her that simple thing faster luring with a treat but Lola is new to the culture of clicking.

Lisa, I can see why you write in now and then to say how you got Buster to do something or other with the clicker. Its pretty cool to watch the process. I could actually see Lola thinking, testing her head movement theory. It was really fun. Now I need a book of things I can teach her while I sit in my easy chair clicking and tossing her treats.

Woohoo! It's kinda cool to watch them think, isn't it?

Lola, you are so beautiful and so intelligent.

That would be depend on whether they are clicker trained ... or just being Brittanys. :P
