We've got one for each...

For a quick pee, "Hurry Up"

To get him to do numero 2, "Let it go"

Let it go comes from the fact that he seems to need to find the absolute perfect spot- he'll be in the number 2 position, and shuffle this way and that, up and down, until he finds that absolute perfect location. When he was little, and we had no yard, and he was on a leash, I'd get irritated after a minute or so of this, and say "C'mon, just let it go!"

Now "Let it go" will get a quicker number 2.

This sounds *awfully* familiar - we call it Fonzie's "Poop Shuffle"

We use "go potty". Before we go to bed we tell them "Last Potty" and they go & then go directly upstairs for bed. diane

I use "go potty" too, but for pooping, since it takes him forever (I swear, that dog gets a joy out of finding the RIGHT spot to go, is anyone else's dog like this?) I use "go poop!" haha I figure might as well be straight forward, especially since I'm not a morning person at 7 am when he has to pee, so "go potty" works great!
