Puppy Teeth

Postby StFrost » Thu Jul 09, 2015 12:05 am

Just took my 9 week old brittany (Rusty) in for his first vet visit. He is healthy but the vet told me his is missing 2 deciduous pre-molars. My own research showed this was a p2 on the bottom, each side (p1 do not come in until adult teeth).

Is this something I should be concerned with? He can still chew like the dickens, and there seem to be ridges where the teeth are supposed to be. The vet did not seem too concerned, just noted it.

Have any of you seen this before?

Thanks. Have not had a puppy in almost 20 years, only rescues and fosters, and I feel like a new dad.
