Did your Britt make you laugh today? Did he do something so smart, you are blown away? Those puppy teeth causing you to tear up, and you need an outlet? Or do you want to post a picture of his or her latest point? This is the place for it!

Good-bye Maggie

We had to let her go yesterday.

My 16 year old and I drove her to the vet and my Xh drove 2 hours and met us there. We all stayed with her until she was gone. Then Xh took her little body...wrapped in all her favorite blankets back to his house to bury.

It was a very sad day. She had a good life and we loved her well...but she was just done.

I'm so sorry .....  Never an easy decision and so hard, even when you know it's the right thing to do.

Thanks everyone,

When I was in Wal mart earlier I teared up walking past the pet section.....then I came home and started the process of gathering her things. I totally lost it. I sobbed through everything. Emptying her water dish, gathering her leashes and toys and deciding what to throw away and what to give away.

I am so so sad.

I appreciate all the help I got here over the years. Thanks again.

We had to take that ride to the vet with our Scout right after Easter this year. Oh, we miss our boy. My husband and I would be eating in silence then look at each other with tears in our eyes. I was remembering when Scout was a puppy and seeing everything for the first time (a butterfly, a bird, and the joy he had at all that was around him.) These dogs share our lives, they are part of our memories, and they love so unconditionally. When they leave us, they take a big piece of our hearts.

I am so sorry about Maggie. I am crying and to be honest am not sure if it is for you or me. Maybe for both of us. I do understand. (((HUGS)))
