That's too bad. I'm quite surprised the Eagles took him. I may have to order a shirt.

Just an FYI in case you're serious -- Earlier this month Procter & Gamble signed another huge sponsorship deal for the NFL and the Super Bowl. Info here.

P&G also owns Iams/Eukanuba. Seems to me it wouldn't be too hard for pet lovers to hit 'em where it hurts.

I'm just sayin' . . .

I would prefer he made donations of his multi-million dollars to ABR.

I live just outside Philadelphia. My young son is a huge football fan, and also an animal lover. He and I have discussed this situation a few times over the past few days. Our bottom line...........Vick did something very wrong. He was sentenced and did his time. I say give him a chance and see what he makes of it. I wish more people were so anguished over the number of puppy mills in our back yard as they are with Vick joining the Eagles. I respect Tony Dungy, and he is backing up Vick. Vick could have a huge impact on how dogs are treated, and could help in the stop of the awful dog fighting.

Step back and take another approach. Give him a chance and try to find the positives in all of this.

No thanks...I'm not interested at all on giving him a second choice. He made his bed and now he can sleep in it. I hope the Eagle play the Bronocs becaue I'm going to buy tickets to let him know what I think of him.

Did the dogs get a second chance?...Not until the law stepped in . From what I understand only a few were eligible for adoption. Let's not forget all the dogs we don't know about. How could he not know what he was doing was cruel? He KNEW it was wrong....his love of money must be more important than life itself, no matter what species. He supported this activity for quiet a while and even supported people to run the operation on his property and participated in other out of state dog fighting activities, not to mention breeding and training dogs to fight. This was an ongoing dog fighting operation.

God teaches me to forgive, so when it's my time, I will be on the Bridge whistling for all of them!

I agree. Very well put.
