God Bless the USA

Postby Dave » Fri Sep 11, 2009 12:26 pm

Diane was flying to see our newborn grand daughter 9-11-2001 . I just was pulling out of the airport after they took off and the news started coming on the radio about an accident at the World Trade towers . I listened as I drove home and got sick , scared then mad as H#$% . I also lost a cousin at ground zero . I would glady hunt down Osama Bin Laden and rid the world of him if I could . If Kathy is lurking and Synder's mom (( Big Hugs)) .

God keep all that have lost their lives and "God Bless The USA"

I found myself back here, http://attacked911.tripod.com/.
I am afraid though that too many Americans have forgotten the the war is not over and wishing it away won't help.

They had an article on MSN that said people have moved on and are forgetting . Diane wasn't killed that day , Thank God , but I was affected directly and I'll never forget . Thanks for sharing that . I still can't talk . :( Dave

In some ways it's hard to believe that 8 years have gone by but in other ways it seems just like yesterday. For all of us who lived through that day I can't imagine EVER forgetting. Yes, we have all moved on but we have not forgotten - never, ever. How would that be possible?

Thanks Tim. Very moving video--the faces of all those innocent victims. Lots of memories--being glued to the TV, all the posts on here and waiting to hear from those we knew were in NYC, all the flags, waiting in line for hours to give blood then finding out that it wouldn't be needed. :(
