Our newest addition, Shelby!

Postby StaceyM » Mon Aug 23, 2010 10:58 am

Hi all!

Long time no post but I wanted to share our latest news! We adopted a dog from a local shelter about 2 months ago. :D We named her Shelby and she is the sweetest dog. They said she is a beagle\cocker spaniel mix... but their guess is as good as anyones. She has blue eyes and her tail curls with long featherings. Molly has adjusted very well to Shelby and vice versa... they are good pals now.

Here's a link of pics when we first brought her home. Let me know if it doesn't work and I'll post the pics on image shack.

VERY cute dog and the picture of the 2 of them is so sweet! I can see beagle/cocker except for the eyes and they don't look like either to me. Doesn't matter though - she is adorable!

Beautiful pics. the eyes almost look like Siberian's. She's a doll - good luck.

She is really cute. I don't think I've ever seen a golden/yellow colored dog with blue eyes before. Very unique. I'm glad both the two girls are getting along well.

Shelby is so beautiful. Actually, both your girls are beautiful! Molly looks like she is quite pleased to be part of a two-dog family. :D

Thanks, I think so too! Shelby and Molly play tug together now and recently I have caught them taking a naps together... it's so sweet. I'm really glad they are getting along. Shelby is my little shadow and she loves attention. :) Molly is the opposite - very independent and only wants attention when she's tired. It's nice to have both!
