MX MXJ !!!!

Postby Alifaire » Sun May 03, 2009 1:09 pm

Just finished a 3-day trial. Victor earned both his MX and his MXJ titles!!! WAY COOL! :D :D :D

Wish I could have been running him, but it was still exciting to watch. Now I'll be running him again and we'll be working toward our MACH title.

Thanks for all the great Brittany vibes.

Woohoo!!!! Way to go Victor!!!! I'd love to see him earn his MACH.

Gotta admit, I'm just a bit envious with how quickly Victor has earned his titles. You should be very proud of both yourself and Victor and how well you've done.

Thanks so much! Victor is an amazing dog and just gets better and better. Buster has his own title [PK1] to be proud of - it's not easy getting all those legs in each class. You'll get there - it's just trial, trial, trial, and always run happy!

Here are Victor's runs from this weekend that are posted on YouTube:

He Q'd on Friday's JWW and Sunday's Standard runs.

The handler is not me, but our agility instructor. She is phenomenal and loves Victor.

Very nice runs. Victor looks like he handles very nicely.

It's weird to see an agility trial run indoors - even more weird to see a ring with support pillars in the middle of it - I'd probably end up running in to one and knocking myself out!! Too used to running on grass or in a horse arena.

Those pillars have been a problem for judges who didn't know they existed - it really messes up their courses. We are so accustomed to them that when we go to other venues without them, it's weird.

Indoor competing is the norm around here. The weather is too unpredictable to trial outside.

Proud is just the beginnng! Victor is a great little dog and I'm hoping that we can get back on the course together and earn some MACH points and double Qs. It's just too hard to watch someone else run with him.
