First Fun Match for Daisy is Two Weeks Away

Postby rtropeano » Mon May 16, 2011 11:20 pm

We have our first fun match in two weeks. There will be Jumpers, Standard and Gamblers. We're going to try Jumpers, which I think we'll be okay with (if I can remember the sequence of the course LOL). I think the other two will be too much - so we'll just stay along for the ride.

BTW Lisa, baby food did the trick for weave poles. Up until that - Daisy didn't really want to do them in my yard (she'd do them elsewhere) but when I brought out the beef baby food - Voila - all of a sudden there was interest. She's just about doing the first two sets of poles....

Wish us luck :)

Good luck! And more importantly, HAVE FUN!

Glad the food worked for weave poles. It's been magic for Buster (but I just use canned dog food in tupperware).

Buster's got a show on Memorial weekend. I'm hoping to get that last P1 Standard Q so that we can get totally out of Starters! It will also be his first time entering Steeplechase...should be interesting.

Thanks Ladies!!

Lisa good luck with your show and have fun. I know we will. I asked my instructor for rules and descriptions so I'll be looking over those :)

Thanks. I started reading through the rules, oy! I don't know how people remember all that stuff. Good thing this is a fun match, because I guarantee I don't know what the heck I'm doing.

I was reading through Gambler's/Jackpot - and it says that you can make up your own course, because sometimes Daisy does that....LOL :D :)
