Video from Daisy's first fun Match Today

Postby rtropeano » Sat May 28, 2011 6:23 pm

We had our first fun agility match. Daisy did very well for the first time. Here's a video of us doing Jumper with Weaves!
Daisy fell into one of the jumps - I was glad she didn't hurt herself....I also did a Gambler's Run even though we were no where near getting a Q if it was a a real match, I was proud of her because she did get the gamble with 2 seconds to spare.I posted that run on Facebook (my DH did the standard).

Another Starlet on her way up 8) If she loves it, and it sure looks like she does, she'll just get better :) So will her handler, it's a team effort. I've never done agility but have worked with many dogs in the "team" effort....practice makes perfect :) Enjoying seeing the progress, WTG you two :!:

Thanks for all the encourage that means a lot.

We have a lot of fun doing agility - Daisy even starts to "happy" bark....our progress is slow but steady. Frankly, I almost gave up on it because we had a really tough time last year at Camp...but with advice from this board (Lisa/Alifare especially) we got through the difficult focus issues. (Brittany ADHD..LOL)

Doing a few sets of training work indoors really hekped A LOT! Our last set of training courses (advanced) is outdoors...so far so good - don't want to jinx her.
