VALOR Agility Trial This Weekend - 2 Q's

Postby rtropeano » Sat Mar 16, 2013 9:06 pm

Daisy and I ran at a Valor agility trial today and she Q'd on two of three runs - Jumpers and Perfect 50 (which is similar to a Gamblers or FullHouse in CPE).

If you haven't heard of the Virtual agility league (the Valor League) is for people with challenges, dogs that are dog reactive, dog/people, reactive, or just have distracted dogs (like Daisy).

I encourage everyone to check it out as this is a great way to participate in agility.

Congrats Daisy !!!! Good job !!!! It sounds like you two are having so much with the agility. What a great way for a dog to expend some energy and for quality time spent together. Keep up the GREAT work !!!!!

I wish I could find an agility class around here. They used to have one - I took Kayla to it - but no more. And I think Pippa would be really good at it. Oh well, the price you pay for living way out in the country. If I had an agility class I would also have more people around. :)

We have a lot of fun. Here is my beginner perfect 50 run (sorta like gamblers). Believe it or not this run is a Q at this level because it's beginner.
Valor is very forgiving which is one reason it's great for beginners and people with distracted dogs. We finally made it after a few times - that's why we both look tired. We working were on the field for about 10 mins.

Here is a video of our Jumpers Run! I don't know who's more enthusiastic - me or Daisy...she's a happy girl.
we had trouble hitting the tunnel instead of the dogwalk.
