Charm learns to weave

Postby Lisa » Wed May 22, 2013 10:41 am

Hey all - just thought I'd share this little video of Charm learning to weave. This was her first attempts at 6 weave poles. Filmed over the space of about 5 minutes or so. The clip is about one minute long, the time in between each section was mostly just resetting things, getting her revved up again, running back to the start of the poles, etc.

That was so cute and funny. Charm just didn't want to do that last pole. I love the "oops" command and she sure knows what it means.

Thanks - she was trying very hard to figure out what I wanted. The "oops" means no treat. I had a remote treat dispenser at the end of the poles, and that's what she was driving towards. She kept expecting it to click open and give her the treat, so I had to tell her oops so that she wouldn't just sit and wait for it. I loved it when she did 4 poles, stopped, thought about it, then did the last ones.

Too cute - and what a nice looking girl! I didn't know there was such a thing as a remote treat dispenser - very cool.
Charm looks like she'll be flying thru the weaves in no time.
