Re: poor bathroom etiquette

My boy doesn't pee on himself but numerous times he has peed on Angel! they would both be sniffing at something really interesting and then Bailey decides he needs to mark it while Angel is still sniffing. It ends up all over her head.

The dryer? Really?

I threw each of the dogs a chew bone this afternoon to keep them busy while we were out. When I cam home I found two of the bones but couldn't find the third...I wanted to put it up until later. A couple hours later I stumbled across it in the dryer  on top of a pile of formerly clean towels....

Re: New Foster-update

Well, Nia has been with us for three months now. She is an absolute sweetheart. She has turned into the biggest cuddle bug. She is the perfect companion dog. She loves long lazy strolls in the park and lazy afternoons on the couch. The problem with the cat is solved...the cat won. Now we are dealing...

Re: I love tired dogs!

I found myself looking for the like button, but then realized i was not on Facebook.
*Like* just the same.

I just told my husband yesterday, after I took my guys on a long hike, that a good brittany is a tired Brittany. Sure enough, all three did not move from the couch all evening.

Re: New Foster

I am delighted to report Nia has settled into our clan quite well. She is such a sweetheart and will make someone such a nice companion. Really the only issue I have with her is her obsession with the cat. she doesn't want to harm it, she just has to know where it is. She spends hours "hunting" it. ...

Re: Introducing Raw

I just wanted to thank you for initiating this topic, and inspiring me to persue a semi raw diet for my guys. After about a month of giving my guys raw bones, my girls teeth have gone from looking pretty bad to almost white! I was shocked at how clean they have become! $2-$5 worth of bones a week ha...

Re: New Foster

It seems like Nia is less stressed today. I have been following your suggestions about a routine. i even take her on the same walking route so nothing new will surprise her. She ate all of her dinner and breakfast when I gave to to her so that is an improvment. i actually even saw her stub tail wag ...

Re: New Foster

I got an email from Nia's fromer owners reminding me that she likes to chew on sticks so to keep a lookout so she doesn't swallow anything she shouldn't. She wants an update on Nia. This is the letter I want to tell her: Don't worry about her chewing anything. I was finally able to get her to eat he...

New Foster

This weekend we got a foster. She is twelve years old and the only owner she ever knew just gave her up...I think it was something about retirement and travel...but that is for another post. I digress already ***mumbles under breath**** Anyway she was a bit nervous her fist day. understandable after...

Re: Introducing Raw

You inspired me to try some raw. So the other day I gave them each a raw turkey neck. Bailey proceeded to dig a hole and bury it. He never did go back to get it. Angel licked hers for a while then gave up and came asking for somethin else. Crazy dogs  So it looks like we will take baby steps. ...

Re: Earthquake

We felt it in South Carolina. Aren't animals supposed to have a sixth sense and warn you about stuff like this? LOL .My two lazy bums didn't flinch. Perhaps they had far to much padding (they were laying on the couch with all the pillows under them) that it absorbed all the vibration.

Shoo Tags

Has anyone ever tried the Shoo tags? they are a tag that attaches to the collar and supposedly wards off ticks. they can be purchased for pets or humans. i just wondered if they worked. Reviews online seemed mixed. We camp every year in North East PA and over the past 2 years 4 people have contracte...

Re: The most pig-headed dog!

LOL Angel does that too! The leash get caught behind her tail an she refuses to move! Oh the plight of those short stubby things! Maybe they need some sort of tail extender to keep the leash from getting caught back there in the first place.
