Re: dog coat

Sled dog folks have stuff called "trail wax" or paw wax... like that. I know of a few hunters who have used it on their bird dogs' paws. Might be worth a look. I have no experience with it. Re: dog coat

If the dog is outside day after day, his own system will thicken his coat, prepare his metabolism, and if you can provide a dry and windproof platform for him, he'll provide his own coat, within moderate extremes. Being in and out of the house may mitigate this a bit, but has proven to be the case, ...

Every now and then, the Dog Planet sends out transmissions to certain of its agents on Earth, directing them to identify the odd things that humans think dogs will love.

All part of the Earth Domination program of Dog Planet.

Re: Dealing with clown hats and boneheads

Recently got permission from a friend who is of Cherokee heritage to attribute a word to the Cherokee language. I was in search of a vocalized comment to make when some folks were on their various opinionated rants. I invented "wafi." It is to be used in place of "un-huh," or "oh really," or a stron...

Here's a variation of an article which may (or may not) be included in the next issue of OnWisconsinOutDoors, or OnWisconsinOnline, or some silly thing. It is an edited copy of the ABR newsletter piece run a few months ago. May be of help to you. Best wishes. Mick, the new, used, dog Bill C My wire...

I've noted that those things which strike us as "wry truths" are most often facsimiles of dumb things we ourselves have done.

Nicely written.

Re: Really need help asap

dunno about Benadryl. Lots of meds in there.

Decades ago (damn), took in a stray who got anxious in the car and would salivate excessively. Used dramamine. Made her lethargic, but reduced anxiety a great deal.

Re: Imminent Buckley freak out

If it is previous condition you feel may reoccur, dogs will tolerate valium well. Check with your vet. Might take the edge off. Weight appropriate dosage won't make him dopey. If he has your "stuff" around...clothes, shoes, contraband, etc...it will serve to reinforce his "lair" sense. May not be an...
