Re: Long Leash

When I was taking my dogs out to get their dose of ticks, I used a 26' flexi lead attached to about a 12' flat cotton webbing leash..Worked fine, and the leash was cheap enough to not worry about getting messed up. The flexi let me haul them back to me when they started braiding themselves together....

Re: Memorial for Dave

I've tried to get this sent several times in the past two days, but something tells me it didn't make it... Anyway - here goes. One little, forever way to remind people of Dave would be to make the line in the Board Index that now reads "Transportation Requests" read instead "Transportation Requests...

Re: Rally QQ

I'd just like to chime in on Rally. I have competed in AKC obedience. Both my rescue britts have their AKC Companion Dog (CD..it's the first level). One loved agility, but I just didn't enjoy the running and for me, wheezing. We then did quite a bit of APDT Rally0...both dogs love it. The best thing...

Re: Foster & Smith

I've used Foster and Smith's heartworm meds for years and years ... both on my Britts and on my Dal when he was alive. Price is really right (it's call Tri-Heart Plus)

Another vote from me. Not only is Leena cutest, she apparently is the only one that knows how to get a drink! Great photo. :P

Re: Trouble Trapping Raccoon

Not that familiar with Havahart traps, but if you borrowed a quite large one it should have a stronger catch. Wonder if that might do the trick?

Re: Do you spoil your Britts?

My dogs told me that because they are Britts they are allowed total access to the bed, the chairs and the couch, and should get massages on demand. I guess I'm a stupid dog owner, because I believed them. What I love to see is Tyler, who flounces off to bed when he thinks its time. "Bed" is our bed ...

Re: battle against puppy mills

Hooray for Horizon Foods. We drive thru Lancaster County on the PA Turnpike on occasion and I notice more and more billboards denouncing puppy mills. That's a start. Now I'm off to buy something from Horizon at the grocery store. I suggest we all put our money where our mouths are and take that litt...

Wonderful! You can see Monty's just about to make a move! (I think he is attracted to the Calvin Klein bib, myself.)
