Re: Dog Food question
I think you can see that you've answered your own question.....if the ingredients in the two foods (puppy/adult) are the same and the only difference is the size of the kibble then the food should be adequate for both dogs...puppy/adult. But if optimum rather than adequate is your goal, then I would...

Re: New pup diarrhea
Congratulations on your new family member....and soooo good of you to rescue. Creed is one of the lucky ones :) You didn't say how long you have had him, but if it is less than a week he may still be a bit stressed with his changed world and that could cause the loose stools. Have you had his stool ...

Oh Adele, saddened to hear about PJ, I remember some of the discussions from quite a while ago. Most of us here know the feeling of loss you are going through, and from what you relayed I'm sure you did the right thing at the right time.....hopefully good memories of your life with PJ will over time...

Re: Our litter is 4 weeks old!!!
Had another thought too.....the easiest way for a pup to learn bite inhibition is to play with other dogs. They learn "tit for tat" from other puppies and adult dogs set them straight almost right away. Perhaps planning some play dates with other pups would help with the "bitey" problem.

Re: Our litter is 4 weeks old!!!
Ah, remember the "bitey" stuff is actually invitations to play. Grab a favorite toy and try to divert her for a few minutes....might work to get her off on a different thought wave....maybe, maybe not
She sounds the smart little cookie, going to be hard to stay ahead of her I'm thinking
