Re: Worm or Skin tag or what?

Ya, Colby has his dew claws. When I first noticed it, I thought it was some nast worm creeping out of the skin. I forget which ones those are called, but YUCK! Will post once I find out what it is.

Worm or Skin tag or what?

Noticed this nasty looking thing on the back of Colby's front leg. We'll be taking him to the vet, but what the heck is it? I swear I saw it move, as if it's a worm, but DH doesn't think it's that. Looks like twisted skin. Is it a skin tag? Its about 1/2 inch long. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/...

Re: DAVE, OH DAVE (MAJOR tissue alert)

I read about Dave on Facebook, how sad! I've been absent from the board for sometime, been super buy with the 2 footer. Dave and I just re-connected on FB last week. It was so nice to hear from him. I always looked to him for his opinions, advice and support. He was such a giver, he will be missed b...

Thank again for more feedback and support. Makes me feel way better hearing some of you have been more upset with your dog than you may have liked. About background noise in the house, usually the tv or radio is on, even when she falls asleep on me, so she's used to noise. Riley in particular just h...

Thank you guys for your thoughts and suggestions. I am definately going to get the tag silencers, or maybe just rubber band them together. I like the idea of the mat, except when he jumps down sometimes that is enough to startle Lauren awake, or he bumps into a toy and makes a noise. I would really ...

I've RUINED my dog!

I deliberated posting this, because I don't want to get slammed, but I really need help! Ever since having Lauren 10 months ago, Riley (7) gets up to follow me when I bring SLEEPING Lauren back to her crib. I don't want him to follow me for fear he'll wake her by shaking and his tags clang or his na...

Took Clay to the vet, nothing wrong. He had a full exam, nothing wrong anywhere including teeth, gums, mouth, face/head. She said dogs in the wild can go 2 weeks without food, not that I would ever let him go that long, but it made me feel better that maybe he's just picky. Having said that, he's be...

Thanks! We had Clay as a foster last year for a few months, he got adopted, and was returned to ABR/us last August. As of the 19th, we'll have had him a whole year, not counting the first go around. He's the foster closest to our heart, and if we didn't have two already would keep him for sure. Asid...

Hi Dave!! :bighug: I haven't been on here forever, baby keeps mama busy! She's 8 months old and a crawling fool! Maybe that's what's noiding Clay out too. This is from about 3 weeks ago when she first started moving. (if you can see her through the dog traffic) http://www.onetruemedia.com/shar...

Foster won't eat (sort of) - How long to wait ?

Our foster of over a year now has decided a while back he didn't like what we serve around here. (Nutri Source chicken & rice) So, I started giving him a pinch of shredded cheese and he began eating again. This was a few months ago. Well, now he decided the cheese isn't good enough. He's gone withou...

If I stand guard and yell NO at him, he usually looks over at me just long enough for Riley to move on. Now that I think about it, when it happens, it's ALWAYS while Riley is peeing himself. Think the foster is just so anxious to mark, he doesn't wait for Riley to move on before peeing on top of whe...

Peeing on another dog

We've had our foster for 8 months, and he continually tries to pee on Riley. Can someone explain why he does that and WHY Riley takes it. Does Riley not have enough sense to move? I would say at least once a week Riley comes in the house with a bit of peed on fur. Anyone ?? PS- Baby Lauren is now 6 ...

Riley peeing - Jealous? Marking?

I've been MIA for some time, busy with now 4 month old Lauren, but need some help. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v641/shopsalott/lauren_face_041308.jpg A few weeks ago, Mike saw Riley peeing on a dog bed that all 3 dogs share, but our foster, Clay mainly lays on. Today, I come home from work and...
