Dave, thank you for posting pics of your beautiful boys. You've made such a difference in the lives of so many dogs...I'm sure your boys are smiling down on you. Thanks Lisa . I only had Cody 4 months and Pax 18 months , but it was like forever . Whenever someone asks about renal failure I cringe ....
Don't ask why I dug this up again , I still miss my boys :( . It's been two years now and if Rusty hadn't come along to help my sadness I would have quit owning dogs and rescue . I don't ponder on this everyday like I used to , time does heal , or at least diminish the pain of loss . http://img60.im...

Dogs live in the moment . Have DD play , walk and give them treats . They won't take it personal I kennel my dogs and they like going there . They love my Brittanys esp. Levi and always enjoy seeing new fosters . Dave

I was thinking this might be a case of nervous drinking . A lot of dogs coming from shelters or that have been on their own out lost :( develop the condition . Their brain must be in the mode that they better drink while they can . I've had several fosters that I thought were in renal failure by the...
Dave?!, really? You too? I'd have thought you'd have your dogs trained to "look away". "My name is Dave and I'm a Britaholic" Actually I crate my dogs while eating otherwise I'd spend half my time spraying them with a spray bottle  . They are very well trained to go in their crates . Al...
