Re: Asking for Brittany Vibes
Hope the pic is still visible. I think Victor looks like he's dancing - but he is actually launching for the triple!

Asking for Brittany Vibes
We're just 2 weeks away from our next competition which will be in Cleveland, Ohio. If we can get 2 Double Qs out of 3 attempts, Victor will have his MACH. :D So ask your pups to send those good vibes our way. Victor earned his Master Excellent FAST title at our last trial and it was a tough course....

Re: Nature vs. Brittany
Apparently Victor is now 'King of the World' having conquered a woodchuck and survived a bee sting!! He's never been one to jump up on tables etc. until now. So apparently his leg is just fine! We came home this afternoon to a pile of 'stuff' from the kitchen counter shuffled around on the floor and...

Nature vs. Brittany
Victor sped out of the house this morning and into his fenced yard. I looked up as usual to see what he was running at that is usually on the other side of the fence - but no dog in sight. I hustled out onto the deck only to hear Victor growling and another something growling and sounds of a scuffle...

Re: Daisy Graduated Advanced Agility (video)
There's a current 'trend' in using running contacts on the a-frame because it's less stressful on the front shoulders and wrists. But a real contact on the dogwalk and teeter is a must! I'm assuming you've trained on a plank on the floor? I'd say do tons of work on that and then put her back on the ...

Re: Learned some good lessons...(video added)
Carpet over concrete??!!?? I wouldn't want to run on that either. Not only is it slippery but very hard on the dog's joints - regardless of speed. You and Buster are looking like a team - good job. A-frame running contacts with a fast dog! You go girl!!! We haven't competed since mid-July and now th...

Re: B12 low range
Our homeopathic vet indicates B12 injections are fine as are Bcomplex vitamins [which include B12] given orally every day. I think I'll try the vitamins first. Now to choose the right vitamins.

Re: B12 low range
The blood test for chronic pancreatitis was sent out to a Texas laboratory and was $160. They did a snap test in office to determine if Victor was in acute pancreatitis. Along with the office visit, that was another $100.

Re: B12 low range
I was thinking raw liver would be more preferable to injections. Victor has seemed fine throughout the vomiting and non-vomiting phases. His water intake was good and he didn't seem sick ever. There was considerable added stress in the form of 7 Aussie and 1 Border Collie pup jumping at his crate wh...

B12 low range
So... is low B12 the latest 'thing' in dog health? Victor was vomiting bile about every other day for a week. He's been under the care of a homeopathic vet for sebaceous cysts. HVet wanted him tested for chronic pancreatitis. Local vet said she has seen B12 injections resolve digestive problems like...

Getting closer...
Competed at an AKC agility trial this weekend in Ohio. We got our 15th [need 20] double Q toward our championship title. It would have been a perfect weekend but I forgot to turn completely and sent Victor to the wrong jump and on another run neglected to say 'Jump' and pulled him off the next to la...
