Re: Posting Pictures

I don't see any e-mail address. I PM'd him as well as someone else but my PM's just sit in the outbox and never go anywhere. Feeling frustrated.

Posting Pictures

Hi Everyone. I know there has been posts about this but I'm having terrible trouble with trying to post pictures. I used to use Image Shack but now you have to pay to use it. I see some people using photobucket which I used for my post about Beamer but I could only post a link to a slideshow and not...

Re: Puppy Love

Adorable puppy !!!!! It truly makes me want to have a puppy again but we are definitely in the "senior mode" right now. BTW - I see you use photobucket. Is that an easy program for posting pictures ?? How do you post from photobucket to the forum?? Do you have to pay for it ?? The program that I use...

Re: Sleep well Monty..

I shouldn't have read this at work because now I am sitting at the desk crying. I am so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful tribute. He will be so missed by his loving family. That is obvious. He was such a lucky dog to have you. I hope that he is with Sheppy, running through the fields. My sincer...

Beamer ; New Rescue

Well, as most of you know, we lost our sweet Sheppy in May. We most certainly were NOT planning to have three dogs again. Life is funny though. With time, we quickly realized that Sheppy was the lightening bolt of the group. Moby, going on 14 this fall, is deaf with cataracts and arthritis. Wesley, ...

Re: Sheppy Crossed the Rainbow Bridge

Thank you everyone. The days slowly get easier. He will always be missed though. We have made a very special place for him in the garden. I walk by it everyday and think of all the wonderful times we had together. I never would have had the shear pleasure of being his "mom" had I not seen his video ...

Sheppy Crossed the Rainbow Bridge

It is with a broken, heavy heart that I'm letting this wonderful ABR community know that my Shep crossed the bridge this morning. Auntie Mom and her DH pulled him from a kill shelter in Nebraska in December 2009 and they met Kat half way between Omaha and Denver en route to western Colorado. He join...

Shep and his Renal Failure

Hi everyone, It's been a long time since I posted about our journey with Shep and his renal failure. I thought I'd give a quick update. He was diagnosed in August which was a previous post. Now it is May and my beloved Sheppy is still with us though, not unexpectedly, his renal function is worsening...

Re: hiking with dog

I just read this thread and just want to say that I'm sorry to hear that you put your pup down. Wow, 17 y/o and still had a wonderful hike at the end. That doesn't make it any easier, I know. I hope that you are adjusting to the change. I'm sure her absence will be felt for a long time. It sounds li...

Re: Tramp is gone

Adele,
I know that if you had found Tramp by now, you would have posted something. I want you to know that we've been thinking of you and hope that you are doing okay. The "not knowing" is gut wrenching. You are in our thoughts !!!! Janet

Re: Dog Contraception

I personally believe that there are benefits to a male dog being neutered that these dogs with the injection wouldn't have. I remember when Moby formed a tumor on his anus. I was worried sick but the vet said that they are benign 95% of the time in neutered dogs. His was benign. If neutering prevent...
