My current Brit, Cooper, is not vocal at all (and neither was our prior Brit, Max). Our Beagle/Brit mix, on the other hand, is very vocal. She whines to get your attention and definitely grumbles (not a growl -- just a little indication of discontent). Not sure which side of her genetics to blame it...

Our Brit is not a hunter either. He gets 2 good walks a day, lots of time chasing critters in the yard, and play time in the house (with a little training thrown in).

I've gone back to Heartgard. I have used it before and my Vet said it was basically the same as the other brand (and I can't remember if that was Iverheart or something else) he recommended so I went with something I knew.
