Re: Anxiety?
Do you make sure Jack gets plenty of excercise in the AM? Believe it or not, I take both dogs out to run for a half hour every morning before work. Our property backs to undeveloped wetlands and some ball fields, so we're really fortunate. I think I'm going to try keeping a log for a while to see i...
Anxiety?
When we first got Jack he needed to be crated during those times when nobody was home. On weekdays, everybody is out of the house by 8:15 am and then kids start getting home from school around 2:30 pm or so. So, its kind of a long time, but not as long as it could be, I guess. Jack doesn't like bein...

Re: Groundhog Bite
Rocket tangles with wildlife on occassion too. We use a product called "EMT Ointment" that does a good job promoting healing and preventing infection. We order ours through Lion Country Supply, but I'd imagine that most pet suppliers carry it. I think it comes in a spray too.

Re: New to the Board
Hi Brian, Yes, that's exactly where Rocket came from. Art and Judy really seemed to have Rocket's best interests at heart and we were impressed by that. If you're familiar with their dogs, Rocket's sire was Hybrittin's Southside Jonnie, probably the last litter he fathered. We haven't kept in touch,...

Re: New to the Board
Oops! I meant to say that Jack is 5 years old. Regarding Rocket, the breeder we went to was actually in PA, just over the MD line. He has quite an impressive pedigree, but we lucked out because the breeder was having some trouble placing him (he'd already been returned twice for various reasons). Th...

New to the Board
Just a quick hello... My name is Marge and I live in Maryland, north of Baltimore. My husband and I have two teen-age sons, and a 10 yr-old daughter. Of course our family wouldn't be complete without our two Britts, Jack and Rocket. Rocket came to us through a breeder after our first brittany passed...
