Love it! Jack and Rocket usually occupy opposite ends of the sofa... perfect bookends, lol.

Re: HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
It was a great Thanksgiving at our house... Nice to have everybody home all at the same time! Jack and Rocket also enjoyed the gravy and turkey bits added to their dinner

Re: One less squirrel
I guess perseverance pays off!! Over the years Rocket has gotten at least three squirrels that I know of. But although Rocket is fast, speed isn't really the biggest factor for him when it comes to squirrel-catching. He hunts them like a cat, sitting still and patiently waiting while the squirrels t...

Re: what the????
Agreed! Usually a screen name with random letters and numbers, responding to an randomly old post, that was posted in the middle of the night is a giveaway. Or if it mentions Kate Spade bags in the Subject heading, lol.

Re: No-pull harnesses?
I've never used a harness, but Jack and Rocket both do well using a Gentle Leader . It fits over the dog's head and attaches to any leash. It generally works by making it difficult for the dog to pull forward. Another brand name for a similar product is Halti and the cost should be @ $30.00 (it's be...

Re: Nose scabs/crusty
Our first Britt's nose got progressively crusty as she aged. Our vet didn't think it was a problem, and it didn't seem to bother her... it was just a bit unsightly. About a year ago, I noticed that Jack seemed to be starting with the same issue (he was 8 at the time). I've been rubbing a dab of Bag ...

Re: Donate a car
We donated a car last fall to a local charity organization and it was very simple. I made the call, provided all the necessary information over the phone, and they made the arrangements for a tow truck to take it away. I gave the driver the signed title and keys, and he gave me a tax receipt for $50...

Re: The new puppy is learning quickly
Let me start by saying what a cutie Tucker is! I love the pic of the two dogs sitting side by side... Anyway, years ago when we got Rocket, he was 6 months old and weighed just shy of 35 lbs. He was nearly full-grown, and although he eventually filled out a bit, he's always been on the smaller side,...
