I picked up A Dog's Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron over the weekend... definitely a must read for anybody who loves a dog! I'm not finished yet, but so far I've pretty much covered the whole emotional spectrum from laughter to tears....it's the kind of book that just makes you want to go hug your dogs.

Actually, we can't even have a screen on the deck slider. They try to paw it like they do the regular door, and it doesn't take long before its all torn to shreds. Sometimes Rocket doesn't even bother to pretend... he just runs out, then back in, and sits there very expectantly.

Last night Rocket was happily chewing away on a toy, when Jack decides to stir up trouble (or initiate play, depending how you look at it, lol.) Anyway, he grabs the chew toy and stands there taunting Rocket with it, tail wagging, all ready for the chase. Rocket's reaction? He very coolly walks over...

Rocket stalks bunnies. He will sit forever out in the backyard...just waiting. He's worse than a cat. Over the years he's actually gotten 3 or 4 rabbits that way. Once they're dead, he loses all interest, and carries them to the back door for me to find (also something a cat would do, lol).

I made the mistake of showing my daughter the slideshow....she's now officially campaigning for a puppy!

It's funny, this morning my son sent me this same clip from You Tube with the words "it's Jack!" It really does look like him, too....very similar face.
