I got my first Brittany when I was about 6 years old. My dad was a hunter and our dog was our pet. We had several. Then I got married and moved away from home to CA. My husband and I had Springers. Diana, That is so COOL! Sounds like my foster Roger, renamed Beau. His furever mom is a therapist. Beau goes to work with her to be a therapy dog. I had word today that he has made it into every person's lap in her Monday group session. It just goes to show that you have to listen to that inner voice.

Thank you everyone. I had already started him on an oral antihistamine. Both of my other britts have allergies. I'll try the spray too. Fortunately, he hasn't chewed himself raw yet. Thanks again.
My new foster came with fleas. I have bathed him to kill the ones I can see and treated him with for the others, larvae, and eggs. The problem is this - his skin is so irritated. :cry: I have changed his food to one without corn and am giving a daily fish oil capsule. Any other suggestons? Poor guy ...
