Wanted to share!

Post by patti »

Just popping in to say Hi! Haven't been on for quite some time! Shiloh is now 7 yrs old! Can't believe it-she still acts like a 2yr old most days! Meant to share this video with you. She loves to swim and does so effortlessly! Here she is after mastering the ladder! Hope the link works

That's great. I'd never have thought she would have been able to master that. Aside from the coolness of it, it's also a nice safety feature, in case she goes in when nobody is looking.

Yes she has jumped in many times when we were busy doing yard work! The last year tho, the lake was very low so my hubby had to lift her half way up as she had no buoyancy to help her up! We can't keep her out once the warm weather is here! She loves the water!

That's pretty amazing. :D I wish Jazz liked water; he's only 14-weeks-old and I just had to keep him in a football hold this evening to give him a much-needed bath. He moans, whines, bellows, makes all manner of other weird noises, and looks forlorn the entire time. I have to get in the tub with him so he can press his soapy body to me and put his head on my chest with eyes beseeching me to let him go. :P Hopefully he'll grow out of it because your dog looks like way more fun in an aquatic scenario. ;)

The funny thing is, she doesn't like baths either! A lot of Brittanys don't like the water! Our first one wasn't that keen on it either! I got a kiddie pool when Shiloh was a pup and would put her ball in it-she loved getting it out and tossing it back in! Then we used to take her to pools at the end of the summer right before they drained them. They would have a dogs day at the pool !

Wow !!!! That was amazing to watch. She's smart.....using her paws and her chin to negotiate the ladder. Mine don't like baths but they do love to swim. It gets so hot here in the summer that they love going to the park where there's a lake, a canal and a river to play in. I also keep a pool in the yard so LizBot, just keep exposing your little one to water !!!
