learning from each other

Post by gagesbarb »

JJ loves ice cubes. Whenever anyone goes to the freezer, his radar tells him and he appears, ears up, looking very cute...he gets his ice cube and off he goes. Gage was never interested in ice cubes, even when we offered them to him. However, now, when JJ comes for his cube, Gage is also right there, takes his and chomps it up happily. Silly dogs

Beamer was an ice cube junkie. Wes never learned. It was a hoot though. Especially when we were trying to pack a cooler for a road trip and we'd find Beamer with his head in it stealing out precious ice cubes. :D :D

My dogs are so so about ice cubes but my brother's 2 Springers are insane!! They've learned that the ice cube dispenser often drops "just one more" after you use it so they race to the frig whenever they hear someone making a drink and just wait. They are not always rewarded but apparently it's worth trying.
