Typical Naughty Brittany

So, I got home after a 12 1/2 hour work day, exhausted. I fed the dogs and the hawk (harris hawk - my DH is a falconer), make my dinner, water the outdoor plants and finally, at 8PM, I start to make my meals and snacks for tomorrow so I can go through the entire thing again. My lunch bag was on the floor and as I made items, I was tossing them in there. I had put pistachios in a baggie and was making my salad when I went to put something in my bag and.......I could have sworn I put my nuts in there. I'm looking around the kitchen thinking I'm having a senior moment when I suddenly realized that I had better find Wesley quick  .......it's always Wesley. There he was in the front yard just finishing the bag of 30 nuts, shells and all. Fortunately, I ran to the computer and found that only Macadamia nuts are toxic. No mention of pistachios. Don't know what those shells will feel like coming out. I don't even know how he stole them right in front of my eyes. Eating my lunch as fast as I could make it . At least things are consistent around here. I always know which dog I need to go find. :? But I love him like mad ...........

Those Britts are sneaky.

Didn't Cassie have a pistachio related incident?

Voice of experience......the pistachios, if they were still in the shell, will come out one end or the other  Yep, Cassie did the pistachios indescretion, the ones in the shell came out the top at 3 a.m. which interestingly enough had sealed up and were a lovely golden color  I would think the shelled ones just digest :) You must have really been tired because with three Brittanys you really were not on alert :P :P Relax, Mother Nature will work it out

   Typical Britt. And, there's always that one in the house, where if they are quiet or you can't find them, they're in to something (Buster, here).

I say anything on the floor is fair game for Wesley. :P Hope he does not pull a 3am Cassie though. :P :P :P :P

(Ok, what I was really thinking ... oh thank goodness, my dogs did not do that today. And another thought ... why is it always 3am anyway???)

Yes, what WAS I thinking. Obviously, I was doing tasks by remote control and not thinking.

Poor Wesley, even if he would have been in the yard with no evidence near by, he would have been guilty by association to past naughty dog indiscretions. Isn't that a real legal term????? That's going to be a hard stigma for him to shake....I'm thinking. :?

I agree that anything on the floor is fair game. I occasionally dump my bag on the hall floor when I get home. Lola knows where the treats are stored. You guys can work out how that always ends.

Falconer, huh? Cool.
