Did your Britt make you laugh today? Did he do something so smart, you are blown away? Those puppy teeth causing you to tear up, and you need an outlet? Or do you want to post a picture of his or her latest point? This is the place for it!

On Aug. 2 our dear Darby crossed the rainbow bridge to join Sierra. She is still listed in the gallery of adopted dogs in July 2003 as Puck. The cancer came quick. She had an X-ray on July 26 & ultra sound on July 30. The vet told us it was a savage cancer affecting her liver & spleen. She enjoyed a walk around the block, a pencil thin raw hide and a few cookies. The vet came to our house and Darby went on her favorite spot, the chaise lounge where she always kept an eye out for birds & squirrels. She was smothered with lots of love & kisses.
It was very hard when we lost Sierra after her 2 1/2 yr. battle with cancer but we had Darby to help ease the pain. Now it's a very quiet house.

Oh Diane, I am so sorry. She was a lucky dog to have gotten you, and to have had you to love her all the way to the end. She is with Sierra now, I hope their memories can help fill your heart and home now.

My mom is a Kat - How cool is that?

Oh Diane, such sad news. The gift of eternal peace is the hardest gift of all to give, but love gives us the strength, and memories ease the pain over time. RIP Darby, enjoy Forever with your pal Sierra.

I'm so sorry. It's so hard to say good-bye. I hope wonderful memories of her can be a comfort.
