Here's something different...

On Friday, I was out in the yard with the dogs when Jack came running up to me with a muddy walnut in his mouth. He was very proud of himself, and I noticed that he'd been digging, so I thought he must have sniffed out some poor squirrel's nut cache. I threw the walnut away, and didn't think much more about it.... Until later on, when my son asked me if I knew that Jack had been stealing nuts (from a basket on the dining room table!) and burying them in the back yard! So apparently Jack steals the nuts, burys them, and then digs them back up again. Not sure how long this has been going on, and I don't want him choking, but I feel bad that I have to put a stop to his fun. What a goof!

What's really funny is that he doesn't take all the nuts from the table... just one at a time so you wouldn't notice. Very sneeky!
