Oh geez Ron - I am so sorry. It doesn't seem to matter that she certainly lived to a good old age, anytime you lose your mother is WAY too soon. My heart goes out to you and your family.
Oh Ron, was sorry to read that your Mom has passed. It was so encouraging when she rallied last year and it gave you all some more special time with her. She is at peace now which should be a comfort, and the good memories will always be with you. Sincere condolences during this sad time for you and your family.
Ron, I don't know you personally, but wanted to add my own condolences. My Mom is turning 91 years this year so it's all too easy to put myself in your shoes. I can tell from your posts how much your mother means to you and how much she will be missed.
Thinking of you in the days to come and sending you strength.
Ron, I usually don't come down to this section but I found your post a few moments ago. I am sorry to read of the loss of your mom. Peace to you and your family.
UPDATE Well ,it has been a year now, when we lost Mom . Things are going ok for Me and Deb. I have been in contact only with my older sister , the younger sister and older brother do not want no contact with me, I just say, It is their loss. Don"t need all the stress .
It's always interesting to see how family dynamics change (or not) after your parents are gone. I can't believe it's been a year since your mom died ... never easy, I know.
Just to let you know that I have been in the back ground, not posting. I am getting ready for retirement, at the end of June .Trying to get things set for the retirement ,and the house will be paid off next month. The fur gang is doing well , Max is going to the groomers Thursday 28th, to get his summer cut .Chance doing well on his meds, no seizures three to four years now. Debbie will be having surgery on the 11th of May on her right knee to smooth down the cartilage.
Hey Ron, nice to "hear" from you and to learn things are going quite well for you, Debbie, and the boys Good luck/get well fast wishes headed your way Debbie....it's amazing what "they" can do these days to make life more comfortable. Especially so since you are both (?) headed for retirement. I've been retired since '89 and my husband since '93 and it's a wonderful life style to get used to, believe me But, Oh My, how time flies!!! Enjoy every day of it, you will be entering a "warp speed" zone
