I'm so sorry for your loss. Your dad is at peace now and was truly blessed to have you in his life.

I'm so sorry Cindy, such a big loss. You and the rest of your family will be in my prayers. Travel safe, and I hope with the sadness you will also find some happy memories while with your family.
My mom is a Kat - How cool is that?
Oh Cindy....I had to sit back and breathe for a while before sending my heartfelt condolences on the passing of your Dad. Those of us who have lost a parent, or in my case two, we know exactly the feelings that almost overwhelm you. But we also know that the somewhat sudden loss, though not totally unexpected, will eventually find it's rightful place in the balance of your emotions. A quiet passing is a blessing for all who care, and what we want for all those we hold close and dear. Keep all the multitude of good memories and be thankful for all the time you had......you are among the lucky ones to have a parent live a long life and then transition peacefully.

Cindy, I'm so very sorry. As a nurse, I will say that it is such a blessing that he went quickly and peacefully with family at his side. Perhaps not at this moment, but someday, this will bring you immense comfort. It's still very hard and a huge transition in life....the loss of a parent. My thoughts are with you.
